Live Webinar:
Long Covid Disability
Benefits Support

March 18

Join us for this live webinar where
experts will share advice that may help
Long Covid patients access disability benefits.

Dr. Ric Arseneau is a specialist in internal medicine with expertise in Long Covid, ME/CFS, fibromyalgia, and other conditions, a clinical professor at the University of British Columbia, and co-founder of the BC Centre for Long COVID, ME/CFS & Fibromyalgia.

As a physician who regularly fills out the medical portion of disability applications, Dr. Arseneau understands the criteria and language that benefits providers require.

Disability Alliance BC works to promote a more inclusive and equitable society for people with all disabilities. Through its Advocacy Access Program, the organization provides support, information, and assistance with provincial (B.C.) and federal disability benefits — expertise they will share during the webinar.

Hosted by Long Covid Committee Co-Chair Adriana Patino, who has knowledge of benefits provided by insurance companies through employers.

This webinar will include a Q&A portion for those who wish to ask questions. Questions may also be submitted in advance by emailing longcovid@covidsociety.ca with the subject line “Disability Webinar.”

We will also post the recording afterward for anyone who is unable to attend.
